Imagine you've found the love of your life,or so you thought. You're world now lingers for that one person who has touched your soul.  Your very existence has turned upside down and you don't know when it will stop.  Until it does, and then it's gone.  What do you do?  Where do you turn? A Long Goodbye is the story of settling with the one who loves you or loving the person you've dreamt of all your life.

A Long Goodbye is set in the future 60 years under UN Agenda 21.  Linda is married to a much older man Johnathan.  Johnathan meets 3 out of 5 things that Linda needs in a relationship.  Then Linda meets Phillip.  Phillip meets all 5 requirements for Linda in a relationship. As they embark on a passionate affair they learn sometimes life and commitments get in the way. 

Eventually, Phillip gets tired of being the third wheel and begins his own relationship.  At the time Phillip is getting married to his new wife Melody,  Linda is getting divorced from her husband.  Linda and Phillip still see each other despite these circumstances.  Phillip soon discovers that his new wife only meets 3 out of 5 things he needs in a relationship. As soon  as Phillip realizes he needs to be with Linda he discovers The Long Goodbye.
